Our Story

The story of Westminster & Partners began with a defining moment at Plug and Play HQ in Silicon Valley. There, a group of venture capitalists had committed $10 million to a promising Series A startup in the Generative AI space. However, disputes over intellectual property and equity threatened to derail this potential unicorn.

Our firm stepped in, turning a complex legal standoff into a win-win for everyone involved. We didn’t just solve the problem; we transformed it into an opportunity. Our resolution safeguarded the investors’ $10 million, propelling the startup from its seed phase to a successful Series A round. This startup is now on its way to becoming a leader in the AI industry.

Impressed by our role in their success, these venture capitalists became some of our biggest advocates. Their endorsements helped cement our reputation as experts in venture capital and private equity, specifically within the AI sector.

Today, Westminster & Partners leads the field in AI investment law. We’re known for our expertise in Generative AI and our use of advanced tools like OpenAI’s LLM. Our beginnings remind us daily: Our work isn’t just about navigating legal complexities—it’s about turning those challenges into the building blocks of success for the next wave of AI innovations.
